Smiljan Radic Clarke, born in Santiago de Chile, graduated from the Catholic University of Chile in 1989 and studied at the Istitutto Universitario di Architettura di Venezia, Italy. After travelling for three years he opened his own studio in Chile in 1995.
Chosen as the “Best Chilean Architect Under 35” by the College of Architects of Chile in 2001, Radic was selected to be part of Architectural Record's “Design Vanguard 2008” and named Honorary Fellowship of the American Institute of Architects in 2009.
Radic has participated in numerous conferences and has held expositions such as “Global Ends en Gallery Ma Tokio” (2010) and “People Meet in Architecture with Marcela Correa” in the 12th Biennale di Architectura di Venezia in Italy (2010). He has been involved in videos such as Un Ruido Naranjo in the Museum of Contemporary Art Hiroshima (2012) and The Wardrobe and the Mattress in Gallery Hermes, in Tokyo (2013).
Radic currently works with the sculptor Marcela Correa in Santiago of Chile.
