Richard Campanella: Two Centuries of Paradox: The Geography of New Orleans’ African American Population

A cultural geographer and historian at the Tulane University School of Architecture, Richard Campanella is the author of seven critically-acclaimed books on New Orleans — most recently Bourbon Street: A History (2014) — and is regarded one of the world's leading authorities on the Crescent City. Campanella has also been a featured guest on NPR's All Things Considered, the CBS Evening News, PBS NewsHour, CNN, and the BBC.
