Public Debate on Greek System

Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 5:00pm to 6:30pm

Malott Hall, 228

The Cornell Forensics Society, the university sponsored debate and speech club, is proud to present a public debate on one of the hottest issues on campus:

Has the Greek System done more harm than good for Cornell?

We are proud to have a panel of student leaders in the Greek System representing IFC, Panhellenic and MGLC:

Alan Workman '13
Carli Van Holmes '14
Juan Carlos Toledo '13

We also have student leaders working on campus inclusion and women's issues:

Selam Gebre '14
Michelle Huang '15

Our special guest for the debate is Duke Cheston from the Pope Center for Higher Education. Duke is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has been an outspoken critic of the Greek System in the press.
