David Schneider's "Last Lecture" - Presented By: Mortar Board Senior Honor Society

Mortar Board Senior Honor Society is pleased to present Professor David Schneider "Last Lecture." Each semester, Mortar Board invites a distinguished faculty or staff member to address the Cornell community and present their hypothetical "last lecture." This semester, Professor Schneider will give the address.


David R. Schneider, a lecturer in Systems Engineering in the College of Engineering, has taught at Cornell and Columbia University, worked as a part of NASA Goddard Code 88, and has been a screenwriter for Walt Disney Attractions Television Production. His most prominent research is his creation of the G*TA (G-Star-T-A) task allocation algorithm and his latest endeavors include the creation of the Cornell Cup USA presented by Intel, Innovative Embedded Design National Competition and the supporting ModBot modular robotic system, leading several Cornell University Sustainable Design projects including efforts on the Cornell NYC Tech Campus, and the broader impacts video game creation for the NSF Expeditions in Computing Grant on Computational Sustainability.
