PPPMB Seminar - Barbara Valent.  Wheat blast is an intractable disease that emerged in Brazil in 1985.  The disease moved to Bangladesh one year ago and has recently been discovered in India.  Dr. Valent describes her work leading the international Blast Integrated Project aimed at understanding and controlling this aggressive and destructive disease.
