Open House for "Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation at 150"

To celebrate Lincoln’s birthday and the 150th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln issuing the Emancipation Proclamation, the Division of Rare and Manuscript Collections will host an open house and guided tours of the exhibition, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. (15-20 minute tours on the hour with the last tour starting at 4 p.m.) “Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation at 150” includes the Library’s unique manuscript copy of this historic document signed by Lincoln, and a variety of other materials including several printed versions of the proclamation and related Civil War era engravings.
