Migration Celebration

Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 10:00am to 3:00pm

Cornell Lab of Ornithology 159 Sapsucker Woods Road

With fall bird migration underway, it's a perfect time to celebrate these incredible avian journeys. During Migration Celebration, visitors may hear from Cornell Lab of Ornithology scientists about ongoing bird research, watch live wild birds being banded, see live hawks and owls from the Cornell Raptor Program, learn about feeder birds and nests, and much more. New this year: Wildlife DJ Ben Mirin will perform in his unique beatbox music style, mixing in the sounds of birds and other animals to punctuate his high-energy performance at 3:00 p.m. Other activities and food available.

Event takes place rain or shine!
