Jennifer Dulski, president and COO of change.org, the world’s largest online petition platform, will speak about managing a career and making a difference during a special presentation Sept. 19 at Cornell.
Dulski was one of the first 500 employees at Yahoo!, eventually becoming a group vice president and general manager. After Yahoo!, she co-founded and served as CEO of The Dealmap, acquired in 2011 by Google.
Her Cornell talk will focus on work that makes an impact, nontraditional career paths and the importance of embracing change. Dulski has a deep history of working for social change, including early experience in education and nonprofits, as well as her first job after college founding and running Summerbridge Pittsburgh (part of the Breakthrough Collaborative), a non-profit organization that helps underserved middle school students get on a path to college.
Dulski is this year’s Munschauer Career Series speaker. The Munschauer Career Series was endowed by the former director of the Cornell University Career Center, John Munschauer, to provide funds for graduates of the College of Arts and Sciences to return to campus to benefit current students' career education.
Her talk will take place at 5 p.m. Sept. 19 in Lewis Auditorium of Goldwin Smith Hall, Cornell. The talk is free and open to the public.
