Long Term Care

Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at 1:00pm to 2:00pm

Biotechnology Building, G10 Central Campus

Long Term Care is the extended personal care required when, because of a chronic illness, injury or old age, a person needs help with basic activities like dressing, bathing or eating. Someone may also need long term care because of a chronic illness such as arthritis or Parkinson’s disease, or due to a degenerative condition such as Alzheimer’s.

Many people think that long term care means nursing home care and they’re right, but it’s much more than that! Today, long term care services also include home health care, adult day care and assisted living facility care.

A representative from CNA will discuss what a long-term care insurance program can mean for you.
