Jet Charge Studies with ATLAS
Of all the Standard Model particles, quarks carry the most (non-trivial) quantum numbers, yet none of these are directly observable. However, some of the information from the quarks is passed on to the final-state objects. Recently, the ATLAS collaboration has performed a dedicated study on one such property, the jet charge, which is a proxy for quark charge. In this talk, I'll discuss both physics and performance aspects of the jet charge observable.
