LASP Seminar: "Understanding socio-ecological resilience: examples from tropical forested landscapes," by Laura Schneider

Laura Schneider will present a socio-ecological framework to study the effects of environmental disturbances on forest regrowth in Yucatan, and the provision of ecosystem services in silvopastoral systems in Ecuadorian Amazon. She will mention at the end some recent results from a paper published in Nature on the effect of the peace treaty on deforestation around protected areas in Colombia.
