Working with quilombos and landowners in Brazil, the Instituto Nacional de Colonização e Reforma Agrária (INCRA) is charged with negotiating the return of lands historically cultivated by quilombos residents and controlled by local landowners. Come and learn about the historical background, process, challenges, and the results-to-date with Isabelle Picelli,  the Latin American Studies Program (LASP) Development Forum, held in Room 153 Uris Hall,  on November 13, 2017, 12:15-1:10 PM, light lunch provided.
