College of Veterinary Medicine, Atrium, LH1
Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine will be hosting its annual Large Animal Symposium from April 5th-6th, 2013. This event, hosted by the Student Chapter of the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP) and the Student Chapter of the American Association of Bovine Practitioners (AABP), attracts hundreds of students every year from veterinary schools throughout the Northeast. This year, we are inviting two highly regarded speakers to give lectures on bovine and equine techniques. These lectures will be followed by a full day of wet labs that span a wide range of topics, including lamness, theriogenology, diagnostic imaging, and surgery. Our goal is to provide veterinary students with hands-on experience and exposure to a diversity of procedures and therapies used in both equine and bovine medicine. Friday evening lectures and dinner will be sponsored in part by Cornell GPSAFC and are open to the entire graduate community.
