Kurt Riley has been described as "a glam-rock chameleon" (Ithaca Times) whose "scintillating blend of punk, new wave, and glam rock will excite you about the direction of contemporary music" (WVBR). Riley's first concert at Cornell earned him an award for being "One Of The Best Local Live Acts of 2016" from The Ithaca Journal.
Now, for the first time in a year, he and his band return for one night to Cornell - this time, to the War Memorial Room in Willard Straight Hall! Riley and his band will be giving the world-premiere of songs from their new album, "Tabula Rasa," as well as fan favorites from his previous records, "Brighthead" and "Kismet."
Riley has partnered with Sober@Cornell to provide an awesome Friday night show for all members of the Cornell community. Admission is completely FREE. Doors open at 6:30 PM.
"One thing is for sure...whatever persona Kurt Riley puts together next...it is bound to be just as enticing as the accompanying record will be." (Slope Media Group, 2016)
