ISS's Land Project: Kick-off Lecture

This lecture introduces the Institute for the Social Sciences' Theme Project on Contested Global Landscapes (2012-2015). At this event, Profs. Charles Geisler and Wendy Wolford will discuss the motivation for the project, describe the team’s research goals, and outline the public workshops and events that the team will host during 2013-2014. Faculty fellows of the project will be on hand for Q & A, including: Nancy Chau, Applied Economics and Management; Raymond Craib, History; Paul Nadasdy, Anthropology and American Indian Studies; Sara Pritchard, Science & Technology Studies; and Steven Wolf, Natural Resources.
