Due to inclement weather, the fireworks have been postponed to Sunday, July 7.
The Ithaca Community Fireworks Celebration will be held on Monday, July 1st from 6:00pm to 10:00pm.
Live Entertainment, Food and Craft Vendors, children’s activities and more will be in Stewart Park where the official celebration will take place.

Although fireworks may be seen from all over the City of Ithaca, these sites are not coordinated by the Fireworks Committee. The official viewing site is at Stewart Park.
The fireworks will be launched from Newman Municipal Golf Course, which will be closed to pedestrian traffic at 8pm. The Waterfront Trail will reopen to pedestrian traffic after the display is complete.
New for this year, Cayuga Street will be closed to passenger vehicles between Lincoln and Lake Streets to facilitate improved bus transportation and biking access to the park. Parking in Stewart Park will be limited to those requiring handicap accessible parking and event volunteers. Patrons can park and walk to the fireworks from Boynton Middle School or Ithaca High School by utilizing the entry and exit from Lake Street. Visitors may also Park and Ride the FREE TCAT bus from Downtown Ithaca (Seneca St, Albany St, or Green St stops) plus regular stops serving Cayuga Street in Fall Creek. Parking is free at night in the City garages at Green and Seneca Streets.
