Come hear from two veterinary students talk about their experiences in international veterinary medicine.
Donkeys in Ethiopia with Alina Ali:
“Come learn about Ethiopia and the logistics of working as a veterinarian with a
nonprofit organization abroad. Alina spent 5 weeks researching the risk factors
and prevalence of lameness in mules within the area surrounding Bahir Dar, and
assisting Donkey Sanctuary with their on-going projects.”
Falconry in Qatar with Abby Duval:
"Falconry is an ancient art which has been practiced in the Middle East for centuries. Today in Qatar and other countries in the Arabian Gulf, it is immensely popular and entire veterinary clinics are devoted solely to providing medical care for falcons. I recently returned from a conference on falcon medicine which was held in Qatar and would like to share my experiences.”
