Come to the Institute of Biotechnology Open House event!
Thursday, September 28th, 2017
10:00 am to 2:30 pm

Come by at 10:00 am to learn about core facilities, including Genomics, Imaging, Bioinformatics, Metabolomics, and Proteomics.  There will be opportunities to meet core facility directors and discuss your research.  There will also be information on starting your own biotech business, and current entrepreneurial activities including grant funding opportunities for your applied biotechnology research. Participate in a raffle to win valuable core facility services!

At 11:00 am, guest speaker Ed Buckler, USDA-ARS Research Geneticist and Member of the National Academy of Sciences and Inaugural recipient of 2017 National Academy of Sciences Prize in Food & Agriculture Sciences, will present "High-throughput genotyping & expression profiling: applications for dissecting complex traits."

Starting at 1:00 pm, there will be tours of Cornell’s cutting edge biotechnology core facilities, highlighting new instrumentation and services available for your research.
