Are you facing sexual harassment on the job? Sexual harassment is a form of gender-based discrimination and can occur in a variety of different circumstances. If you have encountered unwanted sexual conduct at work, such as unwanted touching, sexual banter, dirty jokes, propositions, or pornography, you may be a victim of sexual harassment.

This interactive panel discussion will focus on what constitutes sexual harassment in the workplace and what employees who have encountered it should do. Topics that will be covered include:

  • What laws protect employees from sexual harassment?
  • What behavior constitutes sexual harassment?
  • Does there have to be economic injury in order to be the victim of sexual harassment?
  • Does the harasser have to be of the opposite sex?
  • What should an employee do who has been the victim of sexual sexual harassment?
  • What is the employer's responsibility to the employee when there has been a complaint of sexual harassment?
  • Can an employer retaliate against an employee who complains of sexual harassment?
  • Are victims of sexual harassment entitled to monetary compensation?
