Cornell University's Department of Food Science in collaboration with NY State Department of Agriculture and Markets, Division of Milk Control, is offering an HTST Pasteurizer course July 24-26, 2018.
HTST operators will start at 12:30pm on the first day. Attendees who successfully complete the workshop will qualify for the NYS Ag. and Mkts. broken seal program.
Attendees will receive instruction on cleaning and sanitizing, recording charts, and dairy microbiology.
This HTST course will include HTST equipment design, instrumentation, maintenance of HTST systems, and regulatory testing.
HTST Tuition is $600.00 for in-state registrants -- $725.00 for out of state registrants.
Enrollment is limited to the first 35 participants. Course earns 2.5 CEUs.
The course is instructed by NYS Dept. of Agriculture and Markets and Cornell Dairy Foods Extension.
