Ever wonder how the pros are able to make those stunning photos of smoothly-flowing waterfalls? Here’s your chance to learn how it’s done, with the help of professional photographer Chris Kitchen. This hands-on workshop for intermediate to more advanced-level photographers will combine classroom learning with hands-on field experience. The emphasis will be on proper techniques for long-exposure photographs in a natural setting. After an indoor introduction, we’ll walk to the gorges and waterfalls surrounding nearby Beebe Lake for field practice. Some slope and stair climbing may be required; please wear comfortable hiking shoes and dress for the weather. Required equipment: a DSLR (digital single-lens reflex) camera, tripod, and neutral density and/or polarizing filter. For help with equipment questions, please contact the instructor at firstname.lastname@example.org.
