Get Pumped! HeatSmart Community Meeting

Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 6:30pm to 8:30pm

Varies

The public is invited to attend a HeatSmart Tompkins community meeting at a location convenient to you: Lansing, Danby, Enfield, Town of Ithaca, Ulysses, Dryden, or the City of Ithaca.

HeatSmart Tompkins is a non-profit community organization devoted to increasing home energy efficiency, saving people money, and realizing the environmental benefits of better air quality.

Geothermal and air-source heat pumps offer an energy-efficient alternative to furnaces and air conditioners. They work by transferring heat between your house and the ground, or the outside air. If you heat with propane or fuel oil, you can save money with heat pumps.

HeatSmart program staff walk you through the heat pump technology and point the way towards vetted equipment and installers.
