Savor the authentic flavors of Tuscany as presented by the staff of Cornell’s Taverna Banfi in the Statler Hotel, a restaurant inspired by La Taverna eatery at the Castello Banfi Estate in Montalcino, Italy. After a stroll through nearby gardens to look at select herbs and vegetables to be used in the class, we’ll return to the classroom for a delicious demonstration focusing on hand-made pasta and wholesome dishes made with New York State produce.
$50; $45 members and Cornell students. Pre-registration
Anthony Jordan, Chef de Cuisine, and Christina Alario, Manager, Taverna Banfi; Pam Shade and Glenn Bucien, gardeners, Cornell Plantations
