Finding the right beer to go with your special meals is both an art and a science! Frank Purazzi, head chef at the Northstar House, will guide you through the process of food and beer pairing using fresh, locally grown ingredients and a sampling of local beers from Ithaca Beer Company. We’ll take a walk through the gardens to look at herbs and other plants used to flavor both food and beer, and then head back inside for a classroom demonstration and tasting. This class is part of our annual Garden to Table series, a program emphasizing food plants and healthy, locally-sourced cuisine. Participants must be 21 or older and prepared to show proof of age. Pre-registration is required.
