Jose Gaztambide is Impact Manager at Quantified Ventures. Prior to joining Quantified, Jose was a consultant at McKinsey & Company where he conducted due diligence and delivered advanced post-merger integration results for private equity clients by implementing proven organizational and leadership development methods. In addition, Jose provided procurement and SG&A expertise to clients in the financial services, food distribution and defense industries.

Jose served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Honduras where he provided support and training for a business incubator targeting at-risk youth, the founding of a for-profit recycling co-op, and leadership of a cross-functional support group for people living with HIV/AIDS. Jose served as a consultant on a special project for Grameen-Intel Social Business, helping to develop a business plan for new soil-testing technology targeting farmers in rural Bangladesh.  As a consultant for Mobile World Congress, he identified opportunities for mobile technology to alleviate youth unemployment across Spain, Ghana and Indonesia. Jose began his career at CEMEX as a Strategic Planning Analyst supporting the Chief Economist in preparing arguments for Sunset Reviews of an anti-dumping order against Mexican cement.

Jose earned his B.S. in Economics from Babson College and an MBA from Cornell University.
