Exhibition: Union Made - Fashioning America in the 20th Century

Human Ecology Building (Level T) and Catherwood Library circulation lobby

A collaboration between Catherwood Library’s Kheel Center and the Cornell Costume & Textile Collection, Union Made celebrates 20th century fashion trends alongside the history of organized labor and union labeling efforts in the United States.  The exhibit will feature union-made garments, banners, ephemera, and multi-media to highlight the role unions played to improve working conditions, wages, and benefits, as well as to promote the US fashion industry.
