Dr. Russak currently serves on AAHA’s Board of Directors and is the Immediate Past President. After retiring from an AAHA-accredited hospital in Connecticut that he established and worked at for almost 30 years, Dr. Russak wanted to give back to the profession. So, he began teaching at Mississippi State University in 2003 He retired from MSU-CVM in 2010. Dr. Russak is passionate about business management and veterinary students learning good communication skills. He gives presentations for veterinary students all over the U.S. on developing business and communication skills, the importance of mentoring, and finding the best practice for your needs.
