Arthur Groos (Cornell University) presents "In the River Rhine? -- Das Rheingold as Musical Cosmogony." Groos is Avalon Foundation Professor of the Humanities and a member of the graduate fields of German Studies, Medieval Studies, and Music. Founding co-editor of the Cambridge Opera Journal, he is also general editor of Cambridge Studies in Opera (Cambridge University Press) and co-editor of Transatlantische Studien.
Free and open to the public; no tickets are required.
