Guest artist Ellen Fullman and the Cornell Avant-Garde Ensemble (CAGE), with guest cellist/vocalist Theresa Wong will present two performances of improvised music. Fullman’s “Long String Instrument,” an installation of dozens of wires fifty feet or more in length, tuned in Just Intonation and bowed with rosin-coated fingers, will be installed in Milstein Hall’s dome, as part of a week-long residency that includes demonstrations, master classes, lectures, and open rehearsals (Feb 18-24).
