Cornell River Film Fest

Friday, September 12, 2014 at 7:30pm to 9:30pm

Stocking Hall, 146 (PepsiCo Auditorium)

Friends of the Gorge's first ever "River Film Fest" will be a night for the Cornell community to celebrate and raise awareness for our world's river systems. We will showcase a variety of films and shorts that highlight some of the most pressing freshwater conservation issues today and demonstrate our undying connection to these unique and delicate ecosystems. The evening will feature the award winning film "DamNation," a documentary that chronicles America's shifting attitudes towards dam construction, as well as several shorts from "Freshwaters Illustrated," a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness for aquatic ecosystems through photo, video and film.
