All members of the Cornell community are invited to a two-day discussion of the world’s most urgent challenges and the role Cornell might play in addressing them. The Cornell Global Grand Challenges Symposium is meant to bring together international experts from across the university and generate ideas for the theme of Cornell’s first annual Global Grand Challenge (2019-2020).
On Day 2, November 9, Provost Michael Kotlikoff will convene. Former Oxfam America president and CEO Ray Offenheiser will give a keynote lecture. Other speakers will include the vice provost for engagement and land grant affairs, and the deans of the colleges of agriculture and life sciences, arts and sciences, and law.
