The traditional practice of law has been impacted by rapid changes in available technologies. This Reunion 2014 program will discuss and analyze how the evolving technology landscape is changing practice and how new technologies can be used in the practice of law. Data security and cloud computing issues will be analyzed. Ethical issues will be considered including those relating to proper use of technology and data management. Electronic communications and social networking tools will also be explored.
Attendees are eligible to receive 1.5 hours of New York credit in the area of Skills, and .5 hours of New York credit in the area of ethics. This program is appropriate for both transitional and non-transitional attorneys.
