Conference: Ptolemaic and Roman Households in Context

Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 9:00am to 6:30pm

A.D White House

A two-day conference bringing together scholars working on houses and households in Ptolemaic and Roman Egypt. Our speakers represent a broad range of disciplines - including archaeologists, papyrologists, historians, and art historians - in order to place the archaeology of Greco-Roman Egypt in dialogue with recent theoretical and comparative research on households, dwelling, and daily practice.
