CIT’s Custom Development team is hosting a 4-hour hands-on workshop to inform participants about web accessibility and instruct on how to evaluate websites for conformance with WCAG 2.0 and interpret the results. Custom Development incorporates Web Accessibility best practices into all of our website projects, and follows WCAG 2.0 AA standards for testing sites and content. While we are typically a cost-recovery group, we are offering this free training given the importance of this topic at Cornell and Higher Ed in general. We want to promote awareness and provide campus with the tools to perform your testing and address any found issues, which will help make Cornell’s web space accessible for all.
