THIS IS A SAGE CHAPEL PROGRAM

The Rose Ensemble reawakens the ancient with vocal music that strives to stir the emotions, challenge the mind, and lift the spirit. Their repertoire spans 1,000 years and more than 25 languages, including new research in Swedish, Middle Eastern and American vocal traditions. Founded in 1996 and based in Saint Paul, Minn., this 12-member ensemble tours internationally and has nine critically acclaimed recordings.

By popular demand, they return to Sage Chapel to preform “Land of Three Faiths”, a program that highlights the Hispano-Arabic Middle Ages as an important chapter of history and features the laments of the Sephardic Jews, the Arab-Andalusian dances, Spanish court songs and more.
