Learn one of several ways to add your own data to a GIS. This workshop will begin with an overview of how to add data to a map using ArcGIS 10.0, including general principles and finding an appropriate basemap. Participants will then choose one or more of the following tutorials to work on: adding GPS data; geocoding street addresses; joining tabular data to existing geographic features; and georeferencing a scanned image.
