“Towards an ethnography of experimental psychology”

Emily Martin is a sinologist, anthropologist, and feminist.  Currently, she is a professor of anthropology at New York University.  She received her PhD degree from Cornell University in 1971.

Interests:  Anthropology of science and medicine, gender, cultures of the mind, emotion and rationality, history of psychiatry and psychology, US culture and society.
