Anna Huff is a multimedia artist, performer, musician, and sculptor of group experience. In her work, she creates intersections of body, presence, object, and ritual to reveal and examine hidden social structures that tie individuals to communities. Her solo work uses a variety of tools including sound, costume, narrative, and physical parameters to inform and manipulate the ways groups are guided into action. She often enlists participants and audience members into acts of organized dance, group visualization, and body sculptures. She has toured extensively under the name "Anna Oxygen" performing pop recitals and interactive performance pieces and has released several albums of electronic and acoustic music. She also works collaboratively as a founding member of the media performance group Cloud Eye Control, creating media-based performance work which addresses, among other things, how the human psyche might coexist with technology. Huff has performed at the New Museum, New York City; MoMA PS1, Long Island City; The Seattle Art Museum; Los Angeles County Museum of Art, L.A.; The Hammer, L.A.; New York University; The Portland Institute for Contemporary Art; and the Rohsska Museet in Gothenburg, Sweden, among others. Additional collaborative work includes performances at Festival A MIL, Chile; EXIT, Paris; Fusebox, Texas; and the REDCAT, L.A.
