Silas Howard is a writer and director of short and feature-length films, and was the first trans director of the award-winning television series, Transparent. Tonight heÍll show the episode he directed for Season 2 as well as his feature film debut, By Hook or By Crook (2002), which he co-directed with Harry Dodge. The award-winning film is an anti-authoritarian tale of friendship, trust and redemption revolving around three weeks in the life of a gender-bending, small-town dishwasher who moves to the big city.
