An Evening with Paul Wolfowitz '65

Cornell College Republicans to host alumnus and Ithaca native Paul Wolfowitz ‘65:
Paul Wolfowitz '65, former President of the World Bank from 2005 to 2007 and Deputy Secretary of Defense from 2001 to 2005 under President George W. Bush, will deliver a speech on the topic, "Is the Era of American Leadership Over?"
Tickets are available now in the Willard Straight Hall Ticket Office on campus. They will also be available at the door. Doors will open at 5:00 PM. The event is open to the Cornell community and the general public.
Wolfowitz also served as Under Secretary of Defense under President George H. W. Bush and Ambassador to Indonesia under President Ronald Reagan, and held numerous other Cabinet-level positions in the State and Defense Departments. He also served as Dean and Professor of International Relations at the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies of The Johns Hopkins University from 1994 to 2001. Most recently, he served as the intellectual force behind America’s post 9/11 foreign policy, particularly the War on Terror.
This event is sponsored by the Cornell College Republicans and co-sponsored by the Triad Foundation, the Program on Freedom and Free Societies, the Office of University Communications, the Office of Student and Academic Services, the Government Department, and the Einaudi Center for International Studies. It is open to all members of the Cornell community and the general public.
