Steve Bouchard has nearly 20 years of experience in campaigns at the local, state, national and international level. In that time, Bouchard has established himself as one of the leading organizers and strategists in the US, working for candidates and elected officials across the country.
From 2006 through 2009, Mr. Bouchard served as Senior Vice President for State Affairs at the American Association for Justice where he focused extensively on civil justice issues, Supreme Court battles and on messaging strategy.
Mr. Bouchard’s work has been recognized in publications and by organizations throughout the US, including the NY Times which wrote extensively about the field operation Bouchard established in the 2004 election cycle, calling it “impressive…almost military “ and describing it as “the most critical state operation in the largest get-out-the-vote effort ever undertaken to win a single presidential campaign.” Fox News referred to him as one of the top strategists and tacticians in the presidentially critical state of New Hampshire, writing that Bouchard “has helped more Democrats get elected to office in New Hampshire in the last 10 years than any other operative.” And the campaign of President Barack Obama called Bouchard “a nationally recognized political and field expert.”
In addition to his work with Bouchard Strategies, Mr. Bouchard is also a founding partner at SJB Strategies, International, an international general consulting firm and he serves as senior strategist for Gold Communications, a nationally recognized and award-winning direct mail firm. He is a member of the American Association of Political Consultants and the International Association of Political Consultants.
