Doug George-Kanentiio, Akwesasne Mohawk, is an editor, columnist and author. He is a former member of the Board of Trustees for the National Museum of the American Indian, columnist for Indian Country Today, and author of three books including; Iroquois on Fire (2008), Iroquois Culture and Commentary (2000) and Kanatsiohareke: Traditional Mohawks Indians Return to Their Ancestral Homeland (2006).
