Jamie Hom, Residential and New Students Programs

Jamie Hom joined the Residential and New Student Programs team in 2016, and is currently the Residence Hall Director (RHD) for Clara Dickson Hall, a first year community and one of Cornell’s Program Houses, the Multicultural Living-Learning Unit (McLLU). Jamie received her B.A. in Anthropology and Culture & Communication from Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY and her M.A. in Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education at Ball State University in Muncie, IN. Jamie has research in student retention and persistence connecting wellness management theories to student development theories. She has a passion for working with students and is an advisor for several student organizations, sits on several liaison committees with Cornell Health, and is helping with the Dean of Students office this semester.
