In the aftermath of the terrorist attacks of 9/11, the U.S. government initiated a number of immigration measures. Though designed to respond to the national security needs of the time, many of these measures had a disproportionate impact on Muslim, Arab, and South Asian immigrants. Ten years after 9/11, what is the status of these measures and what impact have they had on immigrant communities and on the broader U.S. immigration policy?
