150 Ways to Say Cornell

Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 10:00am to 1:00pm

Kroch Library, Hirshland Gallery, Level 2B
Olin Library, Ithaca, NY 14850, USA

Cornell University Library concludes its yearlong celebration of the 150th anniversary of the University’s founding with a last-chance opportunity to view "150 Ways to Say Cornell" during Cornell’s Homecoming weekend. Curators will be on hand to discuss and show this exhibition and “Lincoln's Unfinished Work,” on view until September 30.

On display are original documents, photographs, and artifacts that set Cornell’s inspiring history in context with what was happening in America in 1865, including a first look at a newly acquired letter written by Ezra Cornell, recounting his impressions of Lincoln and his wife on the eve of his Inauguration.
