Another great evening - perfect weather, good music, good friends
Right from the start (Howlin' Wolf's Smokestack Lighting) the mix of folks and blues suited the sultry summery evening (thunderstorm visible in the distance to the north). Too hot to dance, not too hot to toe tap along
Uris Hall rocked (though it would have been more fun outside). Thought the performers did the best they could to compensate.
Ah, salsa, meringue and cha-cha-cha on a hot, humid night - perfect conditions. Loved all the dancers who showed up to liven things up!
Threat of rain definitely dampened the evening; kept waiting for skies to open (and it was humid enough). Enjoyed the show - not the greatest, but could sing and dance along with most of the songs
Have to take a pass on this review - I was too distracted being a parent to judge the music
Okay, so this is like asking a cat about cream; any band fronted by a washboard and fiddle is going to be okay in my book. Thoroughly enjoyed the set - even chased my daughter in time to the music
this is a great spot.
